Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in the French city of Puy-de Domme on 8 August 1976. She was eldest among four kids. The actress was inspired by her parents, dentist and a teacher and both of them were teachers. They encouraged her to follow her love of the theatre. It was in stark contrast her earlier ambition to pursue a career as a primateologist since she loved monkeys. The rise of her as an actress in her early years was rapid and accompanied by early success. Before she began to pursue the acting profession, she participated in Jeunes Premiers a French television show that sought to find talent sponsored by Canal+ in 1998. The program also awarded her the title of The award for the Best Young Actress at her performance in the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. Though she was a student at the Institut Catholique de Paris and was a member of the church during her childhood, Tautou is now averse to her religious upbringing and has stated that she's not Catholic. She pursued a career in modeling alongside her acting career and is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel frequently referred to as the Chanel Muse. Also, she has an intense photographic passion and has recently produced an exhibition of her work for the Arles Festival under the title Superficial. Her photos are mostly about the spotlight and fame. They also feature self-portraits in addition. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and stardom with her major part in the film Le Fabuleux of Amelie Poulain. Amelie won international acclai film box office successes and was acclaimed at awards ceremonies all over the world. Amelie has been the most financially successful film that is French-speak in the US. Later, in the same year, she starred in British dramas, including Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things as well as Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles. In the following year, she moved to Hollywood in the United States, where Ron Howard directed the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code.
