Felicity Jones is an British actress most popular in the role of Jane Hawking in the critically popular film The Theory of Everything. Jones has been acting since her 12th birthday and has been in many productions and TV shows. Her first job was acting on television in the role of The Treasure Seekers. Following that, she appeared as a character in The Worst Witch as Ethel Hallow and Weirdsisters College. The first movie she appeared in, Flashbacks of a Fool included her in the role of Young Ruth. Since then she has appeared in numerous films. In The Invisible Woman & The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in particular, she became a household name for her role. The actress was nominated for an Oscar first time for her performance in the role of wife to Stephen Hawking on The Theory of Everything. Jones' portrayal as Stephen Hawking's wife in the biopic, based on the life of Stephen Hawking, was highly praised from both critics and audiences. Inferno featuring Tom Hanks was next on her list of credits. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles presented Jones her the British Artist of the Year in 2016 due to her extraordinary talents and contributions to the cinema.
