Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 of 1970) is an American actress best famous for her portrayal of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter as well on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medical drama The Resident. Her breakthrough role as Eleni andros Cooper in the CBS soap show Guiding Light was also praised. Some of her notable films comprise 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted to a movie with Vlas Parlapanides (the pair who created The Immortals) is thought to be in production. She is also filming for an upcoming series called Gods & Heroes.
