Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American performer and actress, is quite famous. When she was a kid Sara was targeted for racial discrimination by a lot of Americans. After entering a ninth-grade school audition, where she was praised for her voice and acoustics, she began to gain confidence. It not only boosted confidence in herself, but it also changed her goals for the future. In 1992, she earned her master's degree from the city's Julliard School. When she turned 23 she began her journey on Broadway with Paul Simon's The Capeman. Then, aged 23 she made her film debut in You've received mail. The biggest achievement of her career was in the role of The Lady of The Lake as Spamalot's original Broadway production. Not only did she get the Tony Award, but her performance was also well-received by reviewers. The following year she was cast in the role of Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gain more fame. Also, she is a well-known performer and has produced an extended show. She has also been a vocal advocate for LGBT concerns.
